they achieve this? The principal of Osborne Associates, Ian Osborne, spent 24
years with Hewlett-Packard, the world’s most respected technology innovator,
working in a range of functions including engineering, quality, business
administration and marketing and at several levels from engineer to director. His
direct experience, and those of his associates have enabled substantial business
improvements through technology development, product innovation and business
process improvement which have added substantial benefits to the bottom-line of
his business customers in terms of increased
profits and customer satisfaction. Ian is an Executive Associate of Cranfield University's Innovation Leadership Centre, one of the world's leading industrial Innovation Research Centres, where he is responsible for developing the Innovation Leaders Network, a link between research and practice aimed at sharing best practice and identifying new areas of interest. Ian has already brought some of his knowledge and expertise to bear in support of start-up companies in the Central Belt of Scotland. Where his marketing knowledge has proved useful in beefing up Business Plans for presentation to Venture Capitalists and other sources of funding. His network of contacts is extensive and he certainly knows where to start looking for more help in those topic areas in which he cannot himself deliver.
